Custom Furniture & Objects
One-off furniture and sculptural objects — reception desks, tables, wall pieces and forms that need both design and engineering.
From idea or drawing to finished piece. 3D forms, mixed materials, integrated lighting and precise surface finishing.
About this service
Custom furniture from Preiss Workshop means one-off pieces designed and built for a specific space: reception desks, counters, tables, wall pieces and sculptural forms. We work in wood, veneered panels, metal, acrylic and mixed materials, and integrate lighting into the piece where it belongs.
Every piece starts as a 3D model you approve before anything is cut. The same model drives the CNC routing, so the form matches the drawing. Surface finishing — lacquer, electroplating, films or oil — is done at the workshop and the piece is installed by us.
We work equally from our own designs and from drawings by architects and interior designers.
Can you build from a designer's drawing?
Yes. Many of our projects are designed by architects or interior designers; we handle the technical detailing, fabrication and installation.
What materials do you use for furniture?
Solid wood, veneered panels and MDF, metal, acrylic and architectural films — often combined in one piece, with integrated LED lighting.
What is the process from idea to finished piece?
Measurements from you or a site visit, a 3D model for approval, fabrication and finishing at the workshop, then installation on site.
Start with drawings, photos or measurements.
Send drawings, photos, measurements or a rough idea. We review the project and recommend the next step.
