Signage
Custom signage for companies and institutions — illuminated signs, CNC-cut marks, reception signs and wayfinding, outside and in.
We design, fabricate and install signs in metal, acrylic, PVC and aluminum composite. Halo lighting, backlit logos and wiring are part of our own production — not outsourced.
About this service
Preiss Workshop designs, fabricates and installs signage for companies, institutions, hotels and shops in Reykjavík and across Iceland. We make illuminated signs, backlit logos, cut letters, reception signs and wayfinding in metal, acrylic, PVC and aluminium composite — from vector artwork to an installed, wired sign.
Letters and marks are CNC-cut from the drawing and finished at the workshop: sanding, lacquer, electroplating or halo lighting as the project requires. The whole sign-making process happens in-house, so design, fabrication and installation fit together and the result matches the drawing.
Send us a logo, wall measurements or a photo of the location and we reply with a proposal and a quote.
What does an illuminated sign cost?
The price depends on size, material, lighting and installation. Send us the logo and measurements and we prepare a quote with no obligation.
Do you install exterior signs?
Yes. We use materials that stand up to Icelandic weather — metal, acrylic and aluminium composite — and handle installation and wiring with a certified electrician.
How long does sign making take?
It depends on scope. Simple signs are quicker than illuminated signs with wiring; we give a schedule with the quote.
Start with drawings, photos or measurements.
Send drawings, photos, measurements or a rough idea. We review the project and recommend the next step.
